Da Nang Vietnamese Restaurant on Hillcrest Ave offers a straightforward, welcoming spot for anyone craving authentic Vietnamese flavors in Antioch. This full-service restaurant leans heavily into its Vietnamese culinary roots, with a menu that ranges across classic soups like Pho and Bun Bo Hue to specialty items like crispy noodle bird's nest and charbroiled beef plates. The setting is casual and clean, with plenty of seating that suits everything from a quick lunch break to a relaxed dinner gathering.

The atmosphere here feels both approachable and genuine—staff are attentive without being overbearing, creating a comfortable space for families, solo diners, or groups of friends. It’s clear that the kitchen takes pride in balancing traditional recipes with fresh ingredients, as seen in dishes like the richly spiced Bun Rieu and the various rice and vermicelli bowls topped with marinated meats or tofu for vegetarians.

Visitors who appreciate hearty, well-rounded Vietnamese food will find this place particularly satisfying. The Pho, whether rare beef or chicken, draws positive attention for its flavorful broth and generous portions, making it an excellent choice for those new to Vietnamese cuisine as well as seasoned fans. For coffee lovers, the Vietnamese hot iced milk coffee is a popular pick, offering a strong, sweetly balanced sip perfect with or without condensed milk. The pairing of strong drip coffee alongside lighter starters like spring rolls and deep-fried egg rolls rounds out a meal nicely.

Timing your visit for lunch or early dinner works well here, especially midweek when the space remains relaxed without feeling empty. The restaurant’s modest pricing and consistent quality make it a solid lunch spot for locals working nearby, as well as families looking for flavorful, approachable dishes that can accommodate vegetarian preferences without compromising on taste.

In summary, Da Nang Vietnamese Restaurant is best for those seeking an authentic Vietnamese meal in a tidy, no-fuss environment where the focus is on food that sticks close to tradition but is thoughtfully prepared. It’s a friendly, dependable option in Antioch’s dining scene for anyone wanting to explore Vietnamese flavors beyond the basics.

Great food, I got the Rare Beef Pho. I’ve never had Pho and now it’s on my favorite restaurant List, i definitely recommend stopping by to try. I’m glad I had such a great experience for my first time trying. This place is very clean and well kept and the staff is super nice. 10/10

Amazing Vietnamese food! The papaya salad with shrimp was fresh, tangy, and loaded with herbs and peanuts. Bún Bò Huế had a rich, spicy broth with generous beef and toppings. Mì Quảng was fragrant, colorful, and full of flavor. Generous portions, friendly service — we’ll be back!

Went in to have lunch and I ordered the medium beef pho. Tasty broth, plenty of noodles, and a fair amount of fresh tasting meat. Prices seemed to be on point, but things are kind of high no matter where you go these days. I really enjoyed the Vietnamese coffee that they gave me. The service was prompt friendly and was an excellent stop for lunch.

I travel for a living and get to try phò from all over the country. The search for the best bowl of chicken phò is over. Absolutely fantastic phò, friendly staff and surprisingly inexpensive. I look forward to coming back next time I'm in the area.

1. food: i have been here twice, each time for a different dish. first dish was pho, second dish was a pork chop rice plate. food was phenomenal each time. 2. service: waiters and staff are so kind and welcoming. i had unknowingly left my wallet, and one of the employees came after me to return it! 3. the atmosphere is top tier. lots of seating, though i’ve only sat booth thus far. whoever is on aux needs a raise!

This is THE spot for pho in Antioch. We usually get take out pho and it is always packaged neatly with all the fixings. Salad rolls with pork and shrimp w/peanut sauce are so fresh. Grilled chicken Bahn mi is also very good. They do dine in and great take out. Ordering online for take out will get you a discount. Orders are always correct and delish.

This spot is quite busy but offers plenty of seating, making it easy to find a comfortable spot to enjoy your meal. The menu has many options, so there’s something for everyone. I tried the Bun Bo Hue soup, which was nice and satisfying . The Thai tea was also nice —though I personally prefer mine a bit sweeter, it was still enjoyable. Overall, a good experience!
